Mikayla Hughes

Mikayla joined Harmans in January 2018, after graduating from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology and Human Services). She was appointed an Associate in November 2022.

Mikayla is a member of our esteemed litigation and dispute resolution team. She is a highly skilled lawyer who brings a wealth of knowledge to litigation and dispute resolution, debt collection, insolvency and employment law.  She has appeared in the District Court, High Court and Employment Relations Authority.

Mikayla is a member of the Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association of New Zealand and Canterbury Women’s Legal Association and is committed to keeping up to date with changes in the legal industry.
