Kath started with Harmans in 1993 and became a Partner in November 2004, remaining as a Partner until 2016, when she was appointed as a practising Consultant in our large commercial and property law team, specialising in banking and finance law.
Kath acts for a number of financiers, advising on commercial lending transactions and the structuring of securities. She also undertakes a large amount of debt recovery work throughout New Zealand, advising various creditors on the most cost-effective manner to recover debts.
Kath lives with her husband on a 10,000 stock unit sheep and beef farm in North Canterbury. Her rural perspective means she is well equipped to assist farming families navigating the challenges of transition and succession planning.
