An exciting opportunity for a 2-3 year lawyer to join our Private Client and Property team

A full-time position is available for a motivated Property Lawyer with 2 – 3 years’ PQE to become part of our high performing Private Client and Property team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive professional environment with exposure to a broad range of matters including residential and commercial conveyancing, trusts, and private client matters.

About you

As we value strong relationships with our clients, you will possess exceptional technical and interpersonal skills with a desire to build a practice.  You must be a self-starter, property and commercially minded and have the ability to work autonomously.

You will bring:

  • 2–3 years’ post qualification experience within a New Zealand law firm.
  • Strong experience in residential conveyancing and property transactions.
  • Some exposure to commercial matter advantageous.
  • A professional and client-focused approach with a positive “can-do” attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads, manage deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams and Zoom.
  • Experience using LEAP practice management system advantageous.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
