An exciting opportunity to join our Private Client team

A full-time position is available for an experienced Legal Executive to become part of our high performing Private Client team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive professional environment with exposure to a broad range of matters including conveyancing, trusts, estates and private client matters.

About you

You will be a confident and proactive individual who uses initiative and enjoys working in a busy legal environment.  You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple files while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.  This role involves managing files independently, liaising with clients and third parties, preparing legal documentation, and providing general support to the wider team.

You will bring:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Executive within a New Zealand law firm.
  • Strong experience in residential conveyancing, refinancing, trusts, wills, and estate administration.
  • A professional and client-focused approach with a positive “can-do” attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads, manage deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams and Zoom.
  • Experience using Landonline is required.
  • Experience using LEAP practice management system would be advantageous.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
