Harmans Lawyers

Looking for a work-life balance?

Well now you can have it! A rare part-time opportunity has become available in our Administration Team for an experienced Trust Accountant.

This part-time position offers hours on Monday, Tuesday and Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm (sometimes until 5.30pm depending on workload).  You will also be required to cover the sick leave and annual leave of the other Trust Accountant in the team from time-to-time, as well as work an extra day at month-end depending on the day it falls, so flexibility is a must.

The role

You will be required to complete all the processing necessary to run and balance the firm’s trust account, which includes all payments, receipts, write-offs, journals, bill processing, on-call and term deposits, bank reconciliations, month-end tasks and more. Integrity and confidentiality are crucial in this role.

About you

Ideally you will have had prior experience in a similar legal trust account administration role, using InfinityLaw or LEAP.

You will have a solid understanding of AML, FATCA/CRS, NZLS Client Care and Trust Account Guidelines, and be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and efficiency in data entry.

While a relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous, training can be provided for the right individual.
