We are seeking a driven and talented associate level lawyer to join our busy Commercial and Property Law team, primarily working alongside Managing Partner Mark Sherry, the current Chair of NZLS Property Law section.
In this role, you will be provided with partner supervision and have the opportunity to mentor junior lawyers, while contributing to the development of the team. For the right individual, there are genuine career advancement opportunities.
About you
We value the strong relationships we have with our clients, so we are looking for someone with excellent technical, drafting and interpersonal skills. A desire to maintain and strengthen client relationships is essential. You must be commercially minded, a self-starter and able to work autonomously. We are particularly interested in candidates with the drive to build their own client base and develop a thriving practice.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in:
- Residential and commercial conveyancing
- Subdivisions
- Business sales & purchases
- Commercial leasing
- Commercial contracts
- Shareholder agreements
- Franchising
- Trust & estate planning matters
