Bevan graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Canterbury in 1980 and was admitted to the Bar the same year. Bevan joined Harmans in 2026 as a Consultant. Prior to this he has been a Partner in several law firms over the last 40 years, all in Christchurch.
With a diverse and large client base, Bevan is widely experienced in general practice, including property, commercial, estate administration, trusts, subdivisions, relationship property and private client work.
