An exciting opportunity to join our high-performing Commercial team

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated Legal Secretary / Personal Assistant to join our Commercial team on a fixed-term basis to cover a period of maternity leave.

This full-time role provides support to one Partner and two lawyers, offering the opportunity to work closely with a busy and high-performing team on a wide range of commercial, business and property matters.

About you

You will be a confident and proactive individual who uses initiative, has excellent organisational skills, and can quickly pick up new tasks. This role involves providing a broad range of secretarial and administrative support, including opening and managing client matters, preparing bills and statements, document preparation and formatting, processing of transactional property matters, diary management, client liaison, and general file administration.

You will play a key role in supporting the team to deliver a high standard of service to clients while ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently.

You will bring:

  • A friendly, organised and professional approach with a positive “can-do” attitude.
  • A high level of pride in the presentation of your work, with an excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to work as part of a team, with strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, Zoom and Docusign.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Prior experience as a legal secretary or a similar role (preferred).
